What
CORREA
is that?
(The genus Correa belongs to the family - Rutaceae)
Known as Australia's Native Fuchsia, the Correa
is an amazing and versatile garden shrub of
various sizes and flower colours.
Once established, it can actually tolerate periods of
dryness and does not require regular watering.
It is a plant that is not as widely used in today's
gardens as one would hope - which is a pity.
To see what some of the varieties look like while in flower check
on the names below. There are quite a lot of these varieties that are only
available through specialist Native Nurseries or growers, so maybe what I have included
on this web page will help assist you with your selection.
If there is a hyperlink on a name - there will be a photo. These photos are my own and are subject to copyright. The photos are for display purposes only and any Brand or Commercial names used on some plants are only to show the flower characteristics and quality of that plant, nothing more.
